VOLUNTEER IN 2025!

With many local and international participants and over 300 volunteers, the Banff Half is showcasing the region on a global stage as one of the most beautiful running destinations in the world. This is your chance to be part of a world class event and help athletes achieve their goals!

There are a variety of positions available for individuals or groups to volunteer together.
Positions are also available for the Kids’ Run, course marshals, and more!

Volunteers will receive:

-  A commemorative Banff Race Crew technical shirt!

-  Complimentary lunch and snacks

-  Volunteer Bowling Party with food and drink, and over $3000 in prizes

-  Satisfaction of supporting the YWCA Banff, the official charity of the Banff Half and 10K

One of the most important ingredients in a successful running event are the volunteers.  Volunteers make it possible to conduct a safe, well-organized event.  Volunteers will find their task fun and exciting!  At the end of the day, they will feel like they made a valuable contribution to the success of the race.  If you volunteer we urge you to be energetic and enthusiastic, but above all, HAVE FUN!
